SANTA FE (KRQE) – A man wanted for murder in Chaparral was arrested Thursday, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
Eduardo Estrada Garcia is accused of murdering Emely Corina Howard in 2006. He was on the Border Violence Division’s Most Wanted list for the murder.
Attorney General Gary King applauded the Border Violence Division for their work in the case, along with the Las Cruces District Attorney’s Office and other agencies.
Estrada Garcia is currently incarcerated in Mexico. It will most likely be a couple months before he is extradited.
