Three Lobos basketball players await NBA draft.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – We’re less than 24 hours away from the 2014 NBA draft, and the Lobos Men’s basketball team can make history becoming the first class to have multiple draft picks in the 2-round draft.

Cameron Bairstow, Alex Kirk, and Kendall Williams all took part in multiple training camps.

Lobos head coach Craig Neal has been fielding a bunch of phone calls by NBA execs and scouts, and he says that one of the three has stood out above the rest.

“The one that everybody has talked about and got the most buzz was Cam after the pre-draft deal, and what he has done in work outs. I think Alex really, really helped himself and I think Kendall helped himself.” said Neal.
