Galloway duo keeps busy this summer

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Both Dominique and little sister Jackie have been keeping themselves pretty busy this summer.

The 16-year-old Cleveland Storm stand-out Dominique won a PGA Junior Series event last week in Dallas pre-qualifying her for the junior PGA championships in College Station on July 29th.

Before that tournament though, Dominique and her 14-year-old sister will both be playing in USGA Junior championships in Flagstaff, AZ a couple of days before.

“It’s going to be really fun. My sister went when she was this age, and so we get to kind of compare at how we did at this age.” said the younger Galloway.

For Dominique, it’s not so much competing versus her sister.

“This is the first time that we’ve been able to go to tournaments together, so hopefully we can just learn of each other…because I have been to a couple of USGA events, and she hasn’t. So I just want to try and be a role model for her.” says Dominique.
