FBI, APD search for Compass bank robber

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The FBI and APD are currently investigating a bank robbery that took place Wednesday morning at the Compass located at 3500 Candelaria Northeast.

Preliminary reports describe the suspect as a heavy-set male in his 30s, 5-foot, 7-inches tall, with a beard and bald head. Police say he was wearing a tan jacket and dark bandana at the time of the robbery.

The man was last seen on Wellesley, police say.

Those with any information are asked to call the FBI at 505-889-1300. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
