ABQ BioPark breaks ground on Bugarium

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A new exhibit heading to the Albuquerque BioPark has some people really bugging out.

Mayor R.J. Berry was among those at Wednesday’s ground breaking ceremony for the Botanical Garden’s Bugarium.

Some of the insects that will be on display will include Malaysian walking sticks, southwest velvet ants and even tarantulas.

The curator of the exhibit says both kids and adults will enjoy it.

The Bugarium is set to open in 2015.

During construction, the dragonfly exhibit will be closed to the public.
