Police arrest Roswell man for 9th DWI

53-year-old Michael Quiroz was arrested for his 9th DWI after police pulled him over for speeding.

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – A Roswell man has been arrested for his 9th DWI.

Just after five Monday, a state police officer pulled over 53-year-old Michael Quiroz for speeding near Dexter.

The officer thought Quiroz may have been drinking so he gave him a sobriety test, which he failed.

His blood alcohol level was three times New Mexico’s legal limit.

He’s facing several charges, including his 9th DWI and driving on a revoked license.
