Health Department reveals plan to reduce asthma

SANTA FE (KRQE) – The Department of Health and the New Mexico Council on Asthma have released a five-year plan to reduce the asthma burden and improve outcomes in the state.

The plan outlines goals to improve asthma care for New Mexicans over the next five years.

Officials plan to promote national asthma guidelines, reduce hospitalization rates and create and support legislative advocacy for school health reform.
