ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Three people were arrested Friday when police responded to a crash involving a stolen vehicle and a school bus.

According to police, Joseph Lujan, Joshua Montoya and Jose Zamora were taken into custody following the crash.

Lujan and Montoya will be charged with receiving/transferring a stolen motor vehicle and may also face child abuse charges for having a child inside the car with them at the time of the collision.

Zamora was arrested on an outstanding warrant from probation and parole for absconding.

Police say CYFD is also investigating because of the child in the car. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
