Cyclist hit by suspected drunk driver

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police say a cyclist hit by a suspected drunk driver Thursday evening who was first reported to be in serious but stable condition is now critical.

Witnesses say the driver, 36-year-old Robert Duran, was speeding when he hit Jimmy Page at 4th Street and Montaño, then drove off.

Police say when they caught him a few blocks away Duran admitted drinking and smoking marijuana.
