ABQ kids prepare for art flash mob

Arte Encantado

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A group of middle school students in Albuquerque are getting a unique lesson in art, music, and science.

Dozens of kids from all over Albuquerque are participating in the two-week program called Arte Encantado.

Over the last couple of weeks they have been learning about theater and performance art.

Thursday the kids made their own costumes that will be used for a flash mob.

The kids have also designed solar-powered robots at Explora, and created musical compositions from sounds they heard during a tour of the bosque.
