SFPD releases photos to help ID train crash victim


SANTA FE (KRQE) – Photos of items belonging to the bicyclist killed after a collision with the Rail Runner have been released.

Investigators say they hope the photos can lead them to someone who can help identify the victim.

Santa Fe police say the victim was wearing a Virgen Del Carmen scapular and a gold chain around his neck when he was hit. The scapular is brown with gold embroidery and the Virgen Del Carmen on one side and a cross on the other.

The biker was also wearing a white baseball cap with “New York – The Capital of the World” written in black lettering.
