Our daily crop of thunderstorms will start to thin out over the next few days. Storms across the state on Wednesday were mainly wind and light rainmakers. By Thursday afternoon there will be even less moisture to work with so therefore storms will be harder to come by. The best chance for an isolated shower will be over the southeast portion of the state. Moisture will begin to return to the area at least in a limited way on Friday with spot storms possible across the East.
Into the weekend moisture will begin to seep across the east side of the state and into central sections. We are still just looking at isolated showers but the chances will definitely be on the increase. Into next week the shot for showers will continue to go up as the beginnings of the monsoon flow set up.
