Farmer's markets make debuts in ABQ

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – There are two new places locals can get fresh grown food in Albuquerque.

APS and some other groups are turning East San Jose Elementary School into a farmer’s market every Wednesday through July 23.

It starts at 3 p.m. and kids can even make their own smoothies using a pedal powered bike blender.

Another farmer’s market is opening at Presbyterian’s main hospital off I-25 and Central.

It’ll run from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays through October. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
