Isotopes ear biting victim on the mend

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Isotopes player Alex Guerrero’s ear and spirits are both apparently on the mend.

Guerrero is still recovering from having part of his left ear bitten off during a fight with teammate Miguel Olivo last month in Salt Lake City.

Guerrero’s agent tells the LA Times surgery to re-attach the bitten off portion was apparently successful and because of that his mood is better too.

There’s still no timetable for his return to the team and no decision about criminal charges against Olivo who was dropped from the team after the incident.
