Isotopes blown away by Storm Chasers

Isotopes v. Omaha

OMAHA, NEB. (KRQE) – After losing six of eight at home, the Albuquerque Isotopes may have been hoping a change of scenery could bring the squad more luck.

At least on day one of an eight day road trip, that didn’t happen.

The division leading Omaha Storm Chasers scored in six of their eight turns at bat, scoring 13 runs when all was said and done.

Albuquerque on the other hand, got nine hits and six runs. A nice night at the plate, but not nice enough.

Red Patterson took the loss for Albuquerque, giving up six earned runs in five innings. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
