Pedestrian recovering after San Pedro crash

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man is recovering at UNM Hospital after being struck by a vehicle near Expo New Mexico on Saturday.

Albuquerque police closed San Pedro near Copper for a short period to investigate.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital and at last word, he was in critical but stable condition and is expected to survive.

Police say alcohol was not a factor in the incident, and it’s unclear if anyone faces charges.
