After scattered to widespread thunderstorms today across a good portion of New Mexico we will start to see changes weather wise on Saturday. The big story will become the wind with gusts up to 50 miles an hour in Albuquerque and across much of the state. The strong winds will likely lead to blowing dust and lower visibility at times. By Sunday the winds will start to die down and temperatures remain warm with highs 80s low 90s.
Next week is really up in the air forecast wise. Models dicerge significantly on how much moisture is going to be over the state by Tuesday. The GFS model says we could will be enjoying scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday. Meanwhile the European model says no way on the moisture. The European believes the moisture will hold off until next weekend. Only time will tell who is right. Have a good weekend.
