Feds seize sports memorabilia from former mogul

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Sports memorabilia that belonged to disgraced real estate mogul, Doug Vaughan now belongs to the feds.

Vaughan is currently serving 12 years for bilking hundreds of investors out of $75 million.

U.S. Marshals searched a storage shed of his and say they found a pair of baseballs signed by Mickey Mantle and Joe Dimaggio and a football signed by Brian Urlacher.

The sports memorabilia is worth about $5,000 and prosecutors are now waiting on a judge to give approval to sell it along with other items to help pay back Vaughn’s victims.
