Survey: NM teens less likely to binge drink

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – According to a new CDC survey New Mexico teens are less likely to binge drink than others across the nation.

That’s the good news.

The bad news, the survey shows New Mexico kids are more likely to have their first drink of alcohol before the age of 13.

The survey goes on to show that New Mexico teens are more active and get 60 minutes of physical activity daily and were less likely to watch three or more hours of TV every day.
