Man stabbed in southwest ABQ

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in southwest Albuquerque.

According to APD, officers responded to Rescue Mission on Iron and Second Street just before 5:30 Thursday evening for a reported stabbing.

Police say a male victim had stab wounds to his leg and hand and was taken to UNM Hospital in stable condition.

Investigators discovered that the victim and another male were arguing which resulted in the stabbing.

The suspect was taken into custody and is being questioned by police.
