Suspects in pedestrian hit-and-run on the loose

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police continue to search for the driver who plowed over a group of people in southwest Albuquerque on Monday morning, killing one and injuring several more.

Police sent three pictures of the truck seen near Second Street and Iron just before 3 a.m. Monday. Witnesses say the driver appeared to intentionally ram a fence where people were sleeping on the sidewalk.

Investigators say the truck’s license plate is GJ or GZ with an unknown third letter with the numbers 278.

Two men were inside the truck which appears to be dark green and has faded paint on the roof. It could be a Ford Ranger.
