Hit and run suspect vehicle

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – And Albuquerque police continue their search for a driver who plowed into a group of people in downtown Albuquerque, killing one person.

Police sent these pictures of the truck spotted near Second Street and Iron just before three Monday morning.

Witnesses say the driver appeared to intentionally ram a fence where people were sleeping on the sidewalk.

Investigators say the truck’s license plate is G-J or G-Z with an unknown 3rd letter, followed by the numbers 278.

The truck appears to be a dark green Ford Ranger with front end damage and faded paint on the roof. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
