Police catch wanted murder suspect

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A suspect wanted for the murder of a Tijeras man last month, has been captured.

Bernalillo County sheriff’s deputies say Charles Robinson was taken into custody in Gillette, Wyoming early this morning.

According to the criminal complaint, Robinson and Thomas Manuel got into a fight.

A witness told deputies It appeared the two had resolved their differences, but then Robinson pulled a gun and shot Manuel.

Robinson is charged with murder.

He is now awaiting extradition back to New Mexico.
