NMAC Chairman Tom King talks about UFC Card

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The controversy over Diego Sanchez’s UFC victory over Ross Pearson in Albuquerque Saturday night continues.

Pearson filed a complaint with the New Mexico Athletic Comission after the fight. Pearson and many supporters who took to Facebook and Twitter after the fight thought Pearson won what ended up being a split decision in the favor of Sanchez.

The NMAC has a meeting Tuesday but, will probably not be able to rule one way or another on the matter until their meeting in July. The commission meets once a month and the fight was not already on the agenda for this Tuesday. The commission also has to decide what happens to MMA fighter Jason High. He pushed an official during after his fight was stopped and he suffered a loss.

NMAC Chairman Tom King sheds light on all of the loose ends in this video clip.
