Arson under investigation in Taos


TAOS, N.M. (KRQE) – Authorities in Taos are investigating an arson outside of the Stray Hearts Animal Shelter.

During the early morning hours of May 31, someone set fire to a gold Subaru station wagon that was parked at the shelter.

Police also say a rock was thrown through the back window of the car and the vehicle’s Alaska license plate was stolen.

Police say the car was destroyed.

Investigators are following up on leads, but if you have any more information, give them a call.
