For the third day in a row, severe thunderstorms ripped through the state and some again had the potential to produce tornadoes. A tornado watch continues for most of Eastern New Mexico until 10 pm. That means conditions are favorable for tornadoes to develop. So you need to stay weather aware for the next few hours as storms could still fire and produce tornadoes. The weather will quiet down on Monday. There’s still a chance for some storms, but they won’t be nearly as strong as they have been over the past few days.
