Mayor signs new $493M city budget

Albuquerque has a new city budget that includes pay raises for city employees and police.

Mayor RJ Berry signed it Friday.

The $493 million budget will give officers up to a five percent bump in pay. While other city workers will get a three percent raise.

Two million dollars will also go towards the federal reforms outlined by the Department of Justice spurred by APD shootings.
