Honor Flight returns to ABQ

Boy holds a sign thanking vets for their service.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It’s a second homecoming of sorts for a group of veterans who spent Memorial Day visiting the World War two Memorial at our nation’s capital.

The veterans got the chance to visit the memorial free of charge all thanks to the Honor Flight program

Crowds gathered outside the Sunport to give these vets a proper welcome home.
