Clovis man gets max sentence for 5th DWI

CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – A Clovis man will face the maximum prison sentence after a Curry County jury found him guilty of his 5th DWI offense.

Teddy Mack Reeser, 57, was sentenced Thursday to three years in prison, the maximum penalty under law.

Reeser was arrested in April after he caused a crash and fled the scene. When authorities caught up with him he was extremely intoxicated with a BAC level of .39.
