Students learn dangers of drinking and driving

Jobs Corps courts to school program

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Some students got to learn about real life court proceedings and the dangers of drinking and driving Wednesday.

Job Corps holds the courts to school program to teach students about what really goes on in the criminal justice system and lets them experience actual court proceedings as they happen.

Officials overseeing the program say they hope it will impact young people and help them become more aware of their civic responsibilities as well as the dangers of drinking and driving.
