Free legal advice offered during Law-La-Palooza

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – On Thursday, more than 55 lawyers will give free legal advice to members of the public at a Law-La-Palooza event from 3 to 6 p.m. at Lew Wallace Elementary School, 513 6th Street Northwest.

Participants will be able to speak with lawyers for about 30 minutes, and will be referred to other legal resources or assistance.

Judge Shannon Bacon says those who would like the advice should be sure to bring all documents and background paperwork so the attorneys can get full details of each issue.

The event was designed to help low-income residents facing difficult legal issues. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
