ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – There’s been an arrest in the death of an Albuquerque man who may have been shot and killed over $800.

Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputies found 41-year-old Sergio Bickham early last month in a tunnel near I-40 just east of the Route 66 Casino.

According to a criminal complaint, surveillance video shows people in two trucks block Bickham’s car at a gas station in the northeast heights.

Someone tazed Bickham and then towed his car. Deputies later arrested Warren Esquirell accused of kidnapping the man.

Esquirell told police Bickham owed one of the kidnappers $800.

He’s charged with kidnapping, conspiracy and felon in possession of a firearm.
