Isotopes win series against Salt Lake


ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It took time but, the Albuquerque Isotopes have their first series win since April.

The Isotopes took three of four games away from Salt Lake with the matinee 5 to 3 finale sealing the series sweep.

Miguel Rojas continued his hot hitting in the game, hitting his fourth homer in the last seven games. His solo shot in the sixth inning unlocked a two all tie and put the Isotopes up for good. Rojas is hitting .433 with four home runs, seven RBI, ten runs scored and two stolen bases.

The Isotopes are on the road at Tacoma starting Thursday. They are 27 and 31 on the season.
