Interim county manager arrested for 3rd DWI

GRANTS, N.M. (KRQE) – A woman who had been a county manager for two days and formerly oversaw a DWI prevention program was busted for allegedly driving drunk and it’s not the first time.

State police arrested 43-year-old Rheganne Vaughn three times for alleged DWI’s.

In all cases police say she had an open container.

In 2011 she oversaw the Luna County DWI prevention program.

She moved to Grants and Wednesday she became the interim county manager.

Saturday she was arrested.

Vaughn has been placed on leave.
