Galloway sisters qualify for USWAPL

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Cleveland High golf standout Dominique Galloway has qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amatuer Public Links Championship again.

Galloway finished at the top of the leaderboard with a round of 70 during Monday’s qualifier at Santa Ana Golf Course. Kristin Cline took the second of three qualifying spots.

The third spot was decided by a playoff. Dea Mahendra and Galloway’s 13 year old little sister Jacquelyn finished regulation with the same score of 76.

Young Galloway defeated Mahendra on the first playoff hole to join her sister at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship in DuPont, Washington in July. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
