Early voting up 6 percent from 2010

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The June primary is only days away and more people opted to cast their ballots early this primary.

The Bernalillo County clerk’s office is reporting a six-percent increase in early voters this primary, compared to the 2010 primary.

The hottest race this primary is which of the five democrats eyeing the governor’s seat will take on republican Governor Susana Martinez.

Martinez is running unopposed in the g-o-p primary.

Election Day is Tuesday.

Sixty nine My Vote Centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
