ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – There has been another car fire in Roswell, the 16th in 6 months.

Investigators say a minivan parked on the 2000 block of south Emerald Drive was torched early Friday morning.

This is the second car fire this week.

Detectives have sent evidence from a majority of the fires to the state crime lab.

They say until that’s back they can’t link the crimes together. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
