NM telescopes provide wifi to the moon

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Most people cannot live without the internet and now the moon can get an internet connection from telescopes in New Mexico.

Researchers working with NASA used four telescopes in White Sands to show for the first time that people could use internet on the moon if we ever need to.

They’ll be presenting the research at a California conference in June.
