ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – After spending a year after high school at the Elev8 Sports Institute averaging 18 points per game, former Eldorado stand out Zach Lee has inked his national letter of intent to play D-1 basketball for Tennessee State. Lee won a 5A state championship with current Lobo guard Cullen Neal.
“Eldorado taught me mental toughness and to always fight. I played with a bunch of good players up there, so it’s going to help me mold into playing with good team chemistry when I get to Tennessee.” said Lee.
Lee played AAU ball for Danny Granger D1 Ambassadors along with 3 other players that signed their letters of intent. Former Cibola player Kevin Saiz will play for ENMU, former VVHS Hawk Seth Warfield signs with Cabrillo College, and former Valley Vikings guard Joseph Anaya signs with NM Highlands.
