Some storms will continue for the next few hours this evening in Eastern New Mexico before we start to clear things out overnight. There’s only a slight chance for a few isolated storms on Saturday. They’ll be confined to the mountains and the northeast once again. After Saturday, dry air really takes hold of New Mexico’s weather and we will start to heat things up. Temperatures will be 10-15° above average for the beginning of the week. Highs will top out in the 90s in Albuquerque and the triple digits in southeastern New Mexico by Sunday.
