Mark’s Thursday Evening Weather Report

We will continue to see scattered showers across the state coming up on Friday. The favored areas for most of the rain should be central and eastern portions of the state. The northern mountains should again see regular rounds of thunderstorms by mid-afternoon.

By Saturday the moisture plume will thin out.  The east will still have a shot at some showers but we won’t see the widespread storms we’ve seen in past days. In the back half of the weekend as well as next week looks largely dry with that dry air punching in from the west.

Late next week another storm will be possible across the area. Below is a look at the 30 day outlook for New Mexico. As you can tell the north should stay active for at least the next few weeks.
