Pedestrian killed on I-40 near Acoma

GRANTS, N.M. (KRQE) – State police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrain on I-40 near Acoma on Monday night.

Police say 38-year-old Jovanna Tuliman of Grants appeared to be struck by an eastbound vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle fled, police say, and eastbound I-40 was closed for two hours as they investigated the scene.
