Construction on new patient tower begins Tuesday

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Construction starts Tuesday on a new six-story patient tower at the Presbyterian Medical Center in Rio Rancho.

During construction, patients will be able to access the emergency entrance on the west side of the hospital.

Parking will be available in the lots closest to the main entrance of the hospital and to the east of the physician office building adjacent to the hospital.

The current emergency department entrance is expected to reopen next march. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
