Missing hiker found dead in ravine

Search continues for missing ABQ hiker

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The body of a hiker who went missing Sunday was found Wednesday morning in a revine below a hiking trail in Taos, according to state police.

State police first located 42-year-old Kevin Boulton’s vehicle near the Taos Gorge off Rim Road. A few hours later, they were able to locate his body.

Boulton had told his brothers he was going on a day trip for a hike, according to police.

The cause of Boulton’s death is unknown, and the investigation will continue.

Boulton is a registered nurse at Kaseman Hospital in Albuquerque.
