Burro tail to be replaced on SF statue

SANTA FE (KRQE) – The city of Santa Fe is replacing a tail that was mysteriously stolen off its well-known metal burro statue.

The Santa Fe Arts Commission says it’s having an artist recreate the tail.

The sculpture is at the end of Santa Fe’s Burro Alley.

Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the vandal.
