Public input sought on NM hunting changes

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Department of Game and Fish would like the public’s opinion on some possible changes to hunting rules.

The proposed changes include reducing the number of licenses for deer and Sandhill Cranes as well as the potential for more licenses for bighorn sheep.

There is a meeting scheduled in Roswell Tuesday at 6 p.m.

There is also one scheduled in Santa Fe Wednesday at 6 p.m. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
