Suspects shoot at man in NW ABQ carjacking

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) -Albuquerque police say two people shot a man to take his truck.

Officers responded to Kipuka northwest, near I-40 and Unser, just before 1 o’clock Monday afternoon after a carjacking.

The victim’s family told KRQE News 13 that he was being followed and when he pulled into a gas station and was confronted by the suspects.

Police say he was shot and two people took off in his truck. They found the suspected carjackers still in the victim’s car.

Both were arrested.

The victim’s condition has not been released.
