Mild morning temperatures will be followed by hot afternoon temperatures today. Daytime highs will climb in the the upper 80s and low 90s in many locations. A few locations, mainly in the SE, will climb into the 100s. Paired with the heat today will be windy and dry weather. This will put a red flag warning in place for the entire state. High fire concerns will stick around for the 1st half of this week, but by week’s end, a slow moving storm system will bring more moisture back to the sate of NM. Scattered showers and storms will be possible Thursday through Sunday.
