Chris’ Sunday Evening Forecast

The fire danger is going to be very high over the next few days with the above average high temps continuing and the winds picking up.   Red Flag Warnings are posted for almost the entire state for Monday so that means no burning of any kind.   Winds won’t be too out of control but strong enough given the very dry conditions in New Mexico.  Winds will be sustained from 15-25 mph with gusts from 30-40 mph.

Changes arrive late week as a storm system moves into the state.  It will drop our temperatures and also give us a good shot for scattered storms.   Stay tuned…. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
