Temperatures continue to warm into the weekend. Afternoon highs will be near average today, then warm to above average Friday and over the weekend. A weak cold front will nudge into the northeast late today and Friday. This will temporarily halt the warm up in a few of the far northeastern locations. However, everyone continues to warm Saturday. The east will reach its warmest temps on Monday.
A storm will drop down the west coast over the weekend, then park to our west in southern California and western Arizona. This will kick the winds back up for early next week. With the storm just sitting there, expect a prolonged period of critical fire conditions Monday through at least Wednesday.
